IBE Systems was founded in 1982 and incorporated in the State of New
York. The company conducts original research and development on antenna
systems with broad application to radar, communications, broadcasting
and wireless data transmission. The president of IBE Systems, Stephen
Jon Blank, Ph.D., has many years experience in antenna system design in
both the defense industry and commercial broadcasting. He is the
recipient of a NASA Certificate of Recognition, 1983, for his
development of the Algorithm for the Empirical Optimization of Antenna
Arrays. A computer program based on this algorithm has been developed
and will soon be ready for distribution. IBE Systems has also worked on
projects in Israel, Brazil and China. The company has recently conducted
funded research on the development of microwave power beaming systems.
